All That Is Unnamable Gets Lost (2024) is a looping short film without a linear plot, dominant narrative or spoken dialogue. Its title refers to the complications of interaction across species particularly rooted in language differences. The film depicts an apocalyptic sci-fi forest landscape featuring beds of moss, pine trees, rivers and human bodies draped like a fallen branches and create the backdrop for the only actively moving feminine protagonist. The short investigates the blurring boundaries between human culture and the natural world drawing upon Nordic mythology, the portayal of female characters in Renaissance paintings and places of sanctuary which are interwoven within both the visual and auditory aspects of the film.
